During the trip, I sent letters to myself recounting small daily anecdotes\u2014those we tend to forget shortly after returning from a journey. Usually, when some time passes after a trip, we only remember a few anecdotes, forgetting the small circumstances that make our travels more interesting and authentic. To memorise them and to be inspired by them, I sent myself letters containing those small stories along with papers I collected (tickets, entry stubs, metro tickets\u2026) which I would later use as the base of the drawing together with the envelope that contained them.   <\/p>\n<p>Technique: mixed media (collage, marker, coloured pencils, graphite) on paper.<\/p>\n<p>Size: 21 \u00d7 30 cm<\/p>\n<p><strong>2018<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cCheck or drop.
