Castellón (Spain). 1983

Graduated from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (hereafter “UPV”) in 2007 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts, including a year abroad at the Faculdade de Belas Artes in Lisbon during the 2005/06 academic year. She continued her studies and obtained a Masters in Artistic Production from the UPV in 2011/12, and a Postgraduate degree in Illustration applied to design from IDEP (Barcelona) in 2018/19.

She has been the beneficiary of grants such as 3CMCV (2015), the “Habitat Artístic” grant from Castellón City Council (2018, 2012), and collaboration scholarships with the Polytechnic University of Valencia, within the painting department, among others.

She focuses her work on the plastic arts, although she works within them with different languages ranging from street-art to video-picture installations.

The central theme of her most recent work pertains to objects and our links to them, the human need to possess and accumulate, reified memories and the passage of time. Although, she employs them as a narrative element to address other issues that interest her as the precariousness of work or gender inequality, rather than to talk about the object itself.

Since 2003 she has participated in several collective and individual exhibitions in Europe and the USA. Notable individual exhibitions include: “Grow up” carried out with the help of the art centre of the University of Valencia (2016), “September” at the Las Naves centre in Valencia (2014) and “Accumulations and Fetishes” at the Diferença Gallery in Lisbon. Among the collectives: “Open borders” at Odetta Gallery in NY (2019), “Desplazamientos Sediciosos” at Las Naves (2019), “Arte y Metamorfosis” at Museo del Carmen in Valencia (2015), Selecta Suma at “Las Atarazanas” Valencia (2014), and “Hybrida Art Festival” at La Nau (2012).

She has also participated in Art fairs such as “Drawing Room” in Madrid (2020), “Mars” in Castellón (2015, 2018, 2019) or “Ikas-Art” in Bilbao, as a representative of UPV (2011).

Her works can be found in private collections in Spain, the U.K., Portugal, Belgium and the United States, as well as in the art collection of the UPV, Castellón City Council, Valencia City Council and Paterna City Council.
